Deeper Roots // Martin Collins
Sat 27 Apr 1pm
Meet at: The Secret Garden, Floor 7 of Library of Bham, Centenary Square, Broad Street B1 2ND
Far more than a tree identification walk, Martin Collins addresses our deeper understanding of the trees we encounter daily in our gardens, parkland, suburban streets and city centre. What is their role in our urban, C21st lives and what do we want them to do? On this long and engaging walk passing through several city areas, Martin shares his outlook on trees and urban flora which has been shaped by a lifetime’s work in ecology. Many surprises and several exotic species will be revealed along the way.
